Preceptorship
Clinical professional advocates (CPAs) are trained leaders who provide restorative clinical supervision (RCS) to support staff wellbeing, resilience, and reflection, reducing stress and improving job satisfaction.
CPA’s have completed a level 7 accredited qualification in leadership and advocacy that equips them to listen, understand the challenges and demands of fellow colleagues, provides them with the skills, competencies and confidence in fostering a culture of learning and development within their settings. CPA’s facilitate restorative clinical supervision (RCS) to staff, providing psychological support, listening, supporting the supervisee in reflection and improving their capacity to cope, especially in managing difficult and stressful situations. RCS can improve staff wellbeing, job satisfaction, retention, improvements and decrease stress, burnout and sickness.
