We’re improving public wi-fi across the Trust, upgrading to a new, fast and secure network that provides seamless coverage.
We will be switching the existing wifi over to a new network. The new network will have the same name as the current network – ‘NHS Wi-Fi’.
To connect to the new Wi-Fi, you'll need to register again with your details.
On an Android device:
On an Apple (IOS) device:
No internet connection
If you get a message saying ‘no internet connection’ and are not automatically directed to the login page, please open a browser such as chrome and go to ‘Example.com’. This will force the connection page to appear and you should be able to log in.
Your phone keeps asking you to reauthenticate regularly
If your phone is set to a 'randomised/rotating' 'MAC/wifi address' in settings, this will mean the 'MAC address' will keep on changing and will need to be re-registered every time.
To change the setting:
