Preceptorship at 半岛体育 Health NHS Foundation Trust (FHFT) is a 12-month programme including regular meetings with a preceptor and attending four to five core study days depending on profession specific requirements.

This programme supports new staff with the fundamental knowledge regarding the trust, its policies, processes, and documentation. It supports the development of multi-professional collaboration, communication, and professional identity.

The programme helps to improve wellbeing and resilience in staff, ensuring they feel supported and know where to get support should they need it. This programme also supports career development, fosters learning, leadership, and presents access to further training opportunities for each staff member.
