Professional background

Dr Cox is a British Army cardiologist who specialises in heart rhythm abnormalities (ablations and cardiac devices), general cardiology, sports cardiology and general internal medicine. His speciality training was in London at St George's, the Royal Brompton, the Heart and King's College Hospitals. After completing consultant training he worked in Oxford, moving to 半岛体育 Health and Harefield Hospital in 2019.

Research interests

Dr Cox earned a PhD from St George's Hospital in inherited cardiac diseases and cardiac screening. He has published over 50 articles on heart rhythm abnormalities, inherited diseases, heart disease in the military as well as general medicine and review articles. He also has a Diploma in Tropical Health and Hygiene from the Liverpool School of tropical medicine.
