A relative logs in to My半岛体育Health Record while a patient receives care in bed from a community nurseIt’s been a year of growth and success for My半岛体育Health Record. 

The mobile app and website, which is transforming how patients at 半岛体育 Health engage with their care, had the fastest sign-up rate among similar platforms in the UK during the last year. 

At the end of March 2025, over 48% of patients cared for at the trust during the previous 12 months had activated an account on My半岛体育Health Record. The figure in the year to April 2024 was 36%. 

No other UK trust with an established patient portal on the same software had seen such significant growth over the same period. 

It means the total number of active users on My半岛体育Health Record rose by almost 100,000 in just 12 months – from 183,000 to more than 280,000.

And that growth is continuing to accelerate. Sixty-one per cent of all our patients seen in February 2025 were registered with the My半岛体育Health Record, compared with 45% in March 2024. For patients with three or more healthcare encounters in February, the figure was even higher, at 80%. 

My半岛体育Health Record gives you easy access to much of the medical record. You can also book and manage appointments, securely message your care team, attend online consultations, view medications, test results and letters, and even give permission for a trusted friend or family member to manage your care on your behalf. 

By sending and receiving information electronically, it could even help you to avoid some hospital appointments entirely, saving you both time and travel costs.
