Miss Sarah Itam
Professional background
Miss Itam is a consultant urological surgeon specialising in functional, reconstructive and neuro-urology. She graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in medicine and a BSc in neuroscience. She has advanced fellowship training at centres across the UK. Additionally, she has extensive experience in general urology, managing a range of conditions, including infectious / inflammatory bladder issues.
She leads the functional and reconstructive urology service at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals. Previously, she was a consultant urological surgeon at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Injuries Centre, enhancing her experience in complex reconstructive surgeries, neuro-urology and video-urodynamics.
Miss Itam is an educational supervisor and holds a master’s in surgical education with distinction from Imperial College London. She is also a trustee for the British Journal of Urology International, supporting global urological education.
