Professional background

Dr Tunnicliffe was appointed as consultant at 半岛体育 in Respiratory and General medicine in 2014. She qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2001 and initially worked in the West Midlands before a period of time working in Wellington, New Zealand. She completed specialist training in Respiratory Medicine and General Internal Medicine in South West London. During this time she undertook two fellowships in Medical Education and gained a Masters degree in Medical Education. Dr Tunnicliffe specialist interests are in the management of pulmonary embolus and in pleural disease particularly the management of pleural effusion and pneumothorax. She remains actively engaged in education and has additional roles within the Royal College of Physicians.
