AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE:  The Affordable Housing Committee educates members and the public as to the available programs for affordable housing on both purchase and rentals, to seek additional funding from potential sources both public, private and corporate sponsorships. To disperse funds through agencies with Board approval.  2 year term

BUDGET COMMITTEE:  The Budget Committee prepares the annual budget for the ensuing fiscal year and submits same to the Board of Directors for approval or modification.  2 year term

GREEN COMMITTEE:  It is the purpose of the Green Committee to promote and encourage the development of Green Building Practices, and to recognize the many ways REALTORS® can encourage sustainability through education, community involvement and environmentally friendly business practices.  2 year term

GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE: The Grievance Committee functions similarly to that of the "Grand Jury" of the judicial system; that is, to prevent abuse and harassment through frivolous complaints.   4 year term

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE:   The Information Technology Committee recommends policy relating to the LCBR web site and technological equipment necessary to perform day-to-day operations of the Board office.   2 year term

LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE: The Legislative Committee educates members to political awareness, and serves the local, state and national governments through analysis and suggested action on important legislation.  The Committee also establishes contacts with all local and State Representatives and Senators and National Representatives and Senators for our area, and contacts these legislators when issues arise in legislation that affect our industry.   2 year term

RPAC COMMITTEE:  The REALTORS^® Political Action Committee encourages contributions from members to support State and National RPAC policies.    2 year term

REALTOR^® OF THE YEAR COMMITTEE: The REALTOR^® of the Year Committee selects one candidate from among the REALTOR^® members for REALTOR^® of the Year.  1 year term

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE: The Scholarship Committee ensures a qualified applicant receives the Scholarship known as the REALTORS^® Scholarship Grant.  2 year term

SUNSHINE :  Acknowledges past and present members of Litchfield County Board of REALTORS^®, Inc., during grave illness or at the time of death of the member or his or her immediate family.
